Jan-2013 Schedule of Licensure Examination for Architects

This year's first Licensure Examination for Filipino Architects will be on January 25 and 27, 2013 in Manila as posted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Professional Regulatory Board Of Architecture (PRBOA).


Friday, January 25, 2013:

• 7:00 am – 7:45 am – General instructions and filling of forms
• 8:00 am – 1:00 pm – History of Architecture, Principles of Planning, Architectural Practice (30%)
• 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Utilities Systems/Structural Conceptualization/Building Materials and Construction (30%)

Sunday, January 27, 2013:

• 8:00 am – 6:00 pm – Architectural Design and Site Planning (40%)

Reminders

• Your School/Building assignment will be posted outside the PRC premises before the examination day.
• Report to the venue before 6:30 am on the first day of examination to verify your room and seat number.
• Male Examinees are required to wear white polo shirt, tucked-in and Female will be in white blouses or T-shirts with collar.
• Bring with you the Notice of Admission, Official Receipt, One piece metered stamped mailing envelope, Pencils (No.2), Ballpen with black ink, one long brown envelope, one long transparent envelope and a non-programmable calculator.
• On the second day (Jan 27), it is required to bring pencils, drawing pens, erasers, architect scale, triangles, protractors, calculators, graphed paper and other tools for sketching purposes. Bring also copy of Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. No. 1096 1977 National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP).
